Self-treatment is the recurring theme. Over-the-counter steroid creams are sold freely in India and are routinely applied to fungal infections, which makes them spread and become considerably harder to clear. Steroid-modified tinea is now common enough that it is worth saying plainly: if a rash is not improving within a couple of weeks, stop applying things to it and have it looked at.

Chronic conditions such as eczema and psoriasis are managed rather than cured, and the aim is long periods of good control with clear instructions for what to do during a flare. That is a more honest framing than promising clearance.
Most commonly because a steroid-containing cream was applied to it. Steroids suppress the inflammation, so it appears to improve, while the fungus spreads underneath. This is extremely common in India given how freely combination creams are sold. It is treatable, but it takes longer than an infection caught before steroids were applied.
Eczema is managed rather than cured. Most patients achieve long periods of good control with the right regimen, appropriate moisturiser use and identification of their triggers. Anyone offering a permanent cure is not describing eczema accurately.
It is treatable, though results vary considerably by site, duration and stability. Recent, stable patches on the face respond better than long-standing patches on hands and feet. Realistic expectations set at the outset matter more here than in almost any other condition.
You should have one, and you should have a diagnosis first. Topical steroids used correctly are safe and effective; used on the wrong condition or on the face for extended periods without supervision, they cause skin thinning, rebound flares and steroid-modified infections.
If a rash is spreading, has not improved in two weeks, is painful, is affecting your sleep, or has been treated with over-the-counter products without response. Also for any mole that changes in size, shape, colour or border.
